"I paint ‘faces’, although I like to say I paint ‘expressions’; not just what is on the aesthetic surface but the dialogue of what’s underneath. I am not interested in painting ‘bowls of fruit’ but living, breathing, expressive human beings. “Give me something gritty, something real. Show me!” 

Some of her recent exhibitions include: The Ruth Borchard Self Portrait Prize 17; The Winners exhibition, Sky Portrait Artist of the Year, The Wallace Collection; London. Winner of the London Contemporary Art Prize, The Store Street Gallery; #Tribe16, Portrait16; London Art Prize Winner, Mall Galleries SWA;  Art Gemini Prize.  Her work is in collections around the world and she has many interesting commissions from celebrities to, most recently, a 9 year old boy with 'Chelsea' blue smeared all over his face.
