"I paint ‘faces’, although I like to say I paint ‘expressions’; not just what is on the aesthetic surface but the dialogue of what’s underneath. I am not interested in painting ‘bowls of fruit’ but living, breathing, expressive human beings. “Give me something gritty, something real. Show me!” 

Some of her recent exhibitions include: The Ruth Borchard Self Portrait Prize 17; The Winners exhibition, Sky Portrait Artist of the Year, The Wallace Collection; London. Winner of the Contemporary Art Prize, The Store Street Gallery; #Tribe16, Portrait16; London Art Prize Winner, Mall Galleries SWA;  Art Gemini Prize, and she regularly participates in The Wimbledon Art Studios Open Studios. Her work is in collections around the world and she has many interesting commissions from celebrities to, most recently, a 9 year old boy with 'Chelsea' blue smeared all over his face.
